If there is one thing that most people will remember Sarah Michelle Gellar for is her role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the TV series as well as the movie by the same title. From 1997 to 2003 this six year stretch in the hit TV series led Sarah to get into other roles since her acting was assured through the Buffy series. Around 150 episodes of the Buffy series were releases which were very impressive considering the amount of competition it had over those six years. Sarah is only 33 this year which is good news for her adoring fans because they will have at least several more decades of her acting ability to look forward too. Unfortunately for her in recent years she has been in some trouble with stalkers and other crazed fans looking to do things that she was not willing to do. Most of this has been cleared up now however for most stars this is not an unusual occurrence.
Sarah has played several roles in movies that did very well in the box office as some of them when block buster with their revenue and popularity. I Know What You Did Last Summer was cast in 1997 and Sarah won several Teen awards for this series of movies. In the same year Scream 2 was release making for more competition at the theatres and giving the punters what they want in the way of thrillers and horror stories. Each year from 1998 to 2000 Sarah Michelle Gellar was given the chance to host Saturday Night Live which the fans loved and she seemed to love doing. Sarah also appeared in an episode of Sex and the City which was just one of the minor roles she has been given in her career. From a child actress to a very versatile modern day star we have seen Sarah climb the ladder of success to be cast in many great moves. In Scooby Doo she played the part of Daphne one of the team who go around solving crimes. She also played lead voice roles in several animations including Happily N Ever After plus the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies.

Sarah has been absolutely famous for her role in the ultimate serial thriller and horror TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When Sarah first took the role of Buffy, Buffy was just a young and innocent girl that did not believe in vampires and would rather go to the mall like any normal teenage girl. By the next series she has a new bunch of friends and helpers but her attitude has changed a lot because she has had to deal with so much change over such a short period of time. By the final series you see Sarah play a hard core and very angry Buffy the vampire killer which is a complete contrast to what she started out as.
The sky is the limit for good looking actresses like Sarah Michelle Gellar because she is not only a talented actress but she is also has a great smile that lights up the camera and stage. She has many roles under her belt apart from the Buffy TV series and the movie that we did not see much of. What lies in store for Sarah in her career we can only guess but my idea is that she will be one of the many famous stars that are known and remembered for many years to come. Fans like us will never die, only grow stronger as she makes more movies so that her fan base will be even bigger than that if the vampire slayers.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has done work in several movies throughout her career. Some of the most notable are her roles in horror type movies that everyone can enjoy. She has done work in various other genres but nothing works more than a blood curdling scream and suspense that a horror film can provide. The best movies that she has produced are some of the finest in horror, especially for the time period in which they were produced.
She played Helen Shivers in “I know what you did last summer” with an awesome performance. She has also been the character Cici in “Scream 2″ which is a very memorable movie from the Scream franchise. Although “Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed” was not a very scary film, as it was intended for children and teens, she played a smoking hot Daphne that is undeniably a great part for her. In “The Grudge” she played Karen Davis, an unmercifully haunted woman that lives with her boyfriend and makes another appearance in “The Grudge 2″.
Although all of her works are awesome for many viewers, Sarah Michelle Gellar is most well known for her roles in the horror and suspense genre because she has a memorable face and acting ability that simply screams “horror”. So you can enjoy her more extreme works in horror, or the lighter but still enjoyable roles such as her appearance on TV series such as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” as Buffy Summers.
