The early life of Sarah Michelle Gellar is filled with both good and bad parts. She was born on April 14, 1977, in New York City, New York. Her mother, Rosellen Greenfield, was as nursery school teacher, and her father, Arthur Gellar, was a garment worker. She is an only child.
