Although Sarah Michelle Gellar is known for her role as Buffy the vampire slayer, she has appeared in numerous other television and film roles. She was born in 1977 and from a young age has had a strong passion for acting and an interest in theater/cinema. Over the course of her career she has won a total of six teen choice awards for the Buffy series as well as the honor of getting a Saturn Award for the category of “best television genre actress”. Some of the other movies that Gellar has appeared in include Cruel Intentions, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Southland Tales which came out in 2007.

Because of her versatile acting style and adaptability, she has been able to take on numerous roles which differ greatly in terms of character she plays. She started acting in television shows as well as films from a fairly young age, getting her first big break at the age of just four. Several weeks after she was discovered she appeared in a movie that was made for television called “An Invasion of Privacy”. After she completed her first feature film role her career started taking off and she began receiving more offers for roles in movies and on television as well.
