Afro-pop star Nicki Minaj apologized to fans at her Hotel in Manchester on Sunday to postpone the date of her UK performance after she was arrested by Dutch authorities after they claimed she had drugs in her possession.
“I love you and I’m so sorry this happened tonight,” Minaj declared in the video uploaded to social media.
Minaj was previously revealing her name and the address the Manchester Hotel in a blog post on X and had invited her followers to attend her.

“I’m taking a seat to the balcony, so if you’re out, I’ll be able to meet you and I might even come down. I’ll be on the balcony for around one hour. Rlly (really) would like at the very least to meet you.” she added.
While Minaj was freed from the custody of police late on Saturday night however, the show, scheduled to take place in Manchester that night could not proceed.
In a statement released in the name of both Live Nation as well as the venue of the concert Co-op Live the organizers stated that they are “deeply disappointed” by the delay caused by.
“Despite Nicki’s best efforts to explore every possible avenue to make tonight’s show happen, the events of today have made it impossible,” the statement, released late on Saturday night, stated.

Minaj is currently performing on the road on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour as part of the promotion for her new album which was released in the in the year. Minaj was in Amsterdam Thursday night and will take to the stage on Sunday in Birmingham, UK, Sunday evening.
A second Nicki Minaj concert is scheduled at the Co-op Live, Manchester, for Friday, May 30.
